Unique Value Proposition

Aurion Capital operates with a flat organizational structure and an open office based in Toronto Canada. Equity, Fixed Income and Currency management teams are integrated within one centralized trading desk, with all portfolio managers working on the desk. This enables constant communication among team members, and efficient execution of investment strategies within each team, across asset classes, and in real time. This open communication style and unique structure provides insights for all asset class teams, administration and operations.

This structure allows Aurion to make well informed decisions in real time and makes us more responsive than our competitors to information that influences security prices. It also gives us the coverage directly from the Head Traders on each brokerage desk and the opportunity of “first call” on block trades.

On a daily basis there is ongoing dialogue and exchange of research and analysis among the Equity, Fixed Income and Currency team members. On a weekly basis the portfolio managers meet to assess capital market conditions with an opportunity to position the portfolios accordingly. Monthly, the Asset Mix Committee meets for a more formal review of the asset classes and strategies in portfolio positioning
